I received a masters degree in acupuncture at the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine and completed a two year Chinese herbal program at the Jade Institute In Seattle, WA.
I fell in love with Chinese medicine many years ago as I had been dealing with my own health issues. Acupuncture and herbs had really made a big impact in my healing process. After my first treatment I was hooked for life. I give individualized treatments for each person which includes lifestyle and diet counseling. I like to educate patients on how to balance their body with the seasons and their body constitution to prevent health issues and pain in the future.
I believe the emotional well being of my patients is very important for overall health and cannot be overlooked.
I recently spent three weeks in Nepal with the non profit “Open Hands Medicine” where I treated Buddhist monks, nuns and villagers for mostly pain issues. Up to 20 patients a day were treated in a community style setting with four other acupuncturists. I am very passionate about Chinese medicine and feel very lucky to be able to help people in this way.
I often include these modalities in my treatments: acupuncture, cupping, essential oils, and herbal medicine (granules, pills, plasters, and liniments). I am also certified to do Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatments which can help you look up to 15 years younger.

I am a licensed and Nationally Board Certified acupuncturist with a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture, as well as Chinese herbal medicine training from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.
I treat a variety of conditions and specialize in chronic pain management, digestive conditions, neurological disorders, insomnia, women’s reproductive health, and dermatology. I work with each patient to determine their goals, and find the best path forward towards achieving their optimum health in an individualized fashion.
Identifying the source of disharmony in the body can help reverse disease progression, and improve current symptoms through the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine. I am trained in traditional Chinese acupuncture, five element acupuncture, and Japanese style acupuncture which helps me treat more needle sensitive patients in a comfortable, effective manner.
I initially became interested in studying acupuncture through my own experiences with relief of chronic pain through acupuncture treatments and herbal medicine. Chinese medicine takes a holistic approach to health that views a person and their environment as interconnected, seeking to restore and maintain balance in the body. I feel very fortunate as an acupuncturist to help patients initiate the powerful healing that the body is capable of, and watch them transform their health. My goal as an acupuncturist is to help each of my patients restore balance within their bodies resulting in decreased pain, increased energy, well-being, and longevity.
Some modalities that I offer in addition to acupuncture treatments are individualized herbal medicine and nutritional recommendations, herbal topicals to treat musculoskeletal pain and dermatological conditions, cupping therapy, infrared light therapy, and electro-acupuncture.
I also provide cosmetic acupuncture and micro-needling treatments to help rejuvenate the appearance of the face. Receiving cosmetic acupuncture treatments helps the body systemically. By stimulating acupuncture points on the face, the corresponding acupuncture meridians running to the hands and feet are activated as well. These treatments not only help you look better, but feel better from head to toe!
